About Us

Lasia Casil is a designer, entrepreneur, and activist.

She’s also a transwoman and passionate advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and equality.

As a native of Guam, she fled her island home as a young woman to escape bullying and discrimination after being fired from a job when it was discovered she was trans. For 20 years she lived around the world, in Tokyo, London, Bangkok and New York City, packing up her life and moving whenever she was outed or bullied. Taking only what she could carry, she collected little mementos from each place she called home.

As social attitudes evolved, Lasia returned to her island home, founding Guam Pride to fight anti-LGBTQIA+ discrimination and create space for queer island youth to celebrate their authentic selves. She also founded the nonprofit Save Southern Guam which advocates for responsible development and preserving the pristine beauty of her native island.

Lasia ran for senator and was the first transwoman to be appointed as a cabinet member serving under the Governor of Guam. Then she moved back to New York City, a place that has enchanted and inspired her more than any other. Her quest and fight for a safe place for all marginalized people to exist is the inspiration behind her jewelry line, Infinite Charm, highlighting elegant handcrafted charms to proudly express and share on one’s body.

Because every charm tells a story.
